Kitten Has Been Taking Her Teddy Bear Everywhere Since She Was Discovered Alone Outside

A kind-hearted lady from the Indiana countryside discovered a big surprise in her barn one morning last month. She heard an animal screeching in the barn while doing farm chores and followed the sound to find a small feline.

It was a small kitten, perhaps ten days old, that was laying alone on the floor, terrified and freezing.

The woman quickly gathered some straw and wrapped it around the kitten in an attempt to keep her warm and safe from the elements.

After waiting many hours for the mother to return, there was no sign of her or the other kittens in the area. So she resolved to do something for the little girl at that time, especially because the kitten’s temperature had started to drop dramatically.

The mother hurriedly returned home with the cat and attempted to feed her as best she could, but the tiny girl refused to eat. Knowing that it was a job for a professional, he sought assistance from Catsnip Etc, a local animal rescue organization.

Catsnip Etc volunteer Missy McNeal said:

“When we went to retrieve the kitten, she was starving, dehydrated, and flea-infested.”

She was given the proper nourishment with the assistance of a shelter volunteer so that the tiny girl, whom they dubbed ‘Cricket,’ could acquire vitality. Cricket instantly seized the bottle and snatched up all of the food, after which the fleas were removed and she appeared to be extremely active and joyful.

That night, the young girl slept well in her warm bed, accompanied by a brown teddy bear who acted as her coat. Cricket was recuperating well after a few days of 24-hour specialist care, eating and gaining weight like a champion.

The small kitty demanded a lot of attention from the minute she arrived at the rescue center, and she freely indicated what she wanted at the time.

Sweet Cricket insisted on having a teddy bear at her side 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All she wants to do when her foster mother isn’t there is be near her favorite toy.

“She is smitten with her teddy bear. She has been with him since the day she was rescued, and she accompanies him everywhere. Her teddy bear keeps her company as she sleeps and makes her feel safe.

Cricket’s best buddy is his teddy bear, who cuddles him whenever he wants a hug or while his mother is away. When the little girl was ready for her injections, she brought her closest buddy with her to the vet’s office.

Cricket clung to his teddy bear the entire time he was there, which provided him with a sense of security and eased his transition.

She is really lovely and caring. When she is weary, she loves to embrace her foster mother, and when she is awake, she enjoys playing with her. He only wants to be with his family.

She insists on having every cuddle party with her favorite Teddy bear, even when she goes out or hangs out with her human friends. Every day, the little girl’s activity level rises as she matures and enters the stage where her individuality emerges.

“She is getting more extroverted and enjoys running and playing. She’s learned how entertaining toys can be.

Cricket has grown into an active young panther since being rescued as a newborn, but certain things have remained the same.
