A Man Creates A Bridge So That His Cat May Reach The Window She Adores

Andrew Brewer’s house has a window on the second level that has always been out of reach. It was set high up in a stairway and could only be seen from a few feet distant.
Ellie, Brewer’s cat, was disturbed by this truth. She’d sit at the top of the stairs every day and stare out the window, just dreaming of the wonderful view it afforded.
Brewer told The Dodo, “I could see she wanted to go at it so bad.”
Brewer got inventive instead of letting his cat’s one real wish go unmet.

Brewer planned and built a bridge in his spare time to span the distance that had prevented Ellie from the window for so long.
Brewer remarked, “The construction itself wasn’t difficult at all.” “I had a vision of what I wanted it to look like in my brain and simply went with it.”
Here’s what it looks like from below:

Ellie understood he’d done everything for her not long after Brewer built the bridge.
Her dream’s window was no longer inaccessible.

Ellie has spent many hours since then with her nose pushed against the window, taking in the breathtaking view.
“It makes me happy every time I see her in the window,” Brewer remarked. “Knowing she can finally reach that window she’s always longed to reach makes me joyful.”

Ellie has a great position for observing the inside of the home in addition to the view from the window.

Ellie has it pretty nice, to be honest.

Brewer considers the time he spent building the bridge to have been well spent when he sees how pleased it has made her.
Ellie, in his opinion, is deserving of nothing less.

“The work was well worth it,” Brewer remarked. “Pets are family members.”
