Photos from an Istanbul hospital’s emergency department recently went viral on social media. Merve zcan posted photos to Twitter showing a mother cat carrying her ill kitten to a human hospital. The paramedics can be seen caressing and encircling the sad mom cat.
Fortunately, Turkish people are known for their compassion and care for stray animals, and they stepped in to save the cats. The kitten is now healthy, and no CAT scans were necessary.
A stray cat mother recently carried her young kitten to the emergency room in Istanbul.
The tale was shared by hundreds of people on Turkish social media and loved by over 82k people on Reddit, and it warmed many people’s hearts. A newborn kitten is seen being taken to the human emergency room by its mother in images published on Twitter. Merve zcan, who first posted the images, stated, “Today we were in the emergency area of the hospital when a cat raced to deliver her babies in her mouth.”

The physicians responded quickly, according to Turkish media, and evaluated the kitten for evident health concerns. The mother cat was chasing after her kitten and wouldn’t allow it out of her sight.
The mom cat was given milk and nourishment while the kitten was being cared for.

The two cats were directed to a veterinarian when human physicians intervened.
