When A Man Takes A Nap Outside, He Awakens With A Kitten On His Stomach

Ali Safa was anticipating a relaxing day. His sole intention was to stay at home in Canberra, Australia, and play video games.
He walked outside to enjoy some sunshine in the garden. He fell asleep before he realized it.
He wasn’t alone when he awakened.
“I was resting on our house’s balcony, and I woke up two hours later to find her peacefully snoozing on my stomach,” Safa told The Dodo. “At first, I mistook her for a mouse.”

Safa had a small white cat laid on her tummy, purring happily. He felt something melt in his heart as he stared down at her bald pink ears and filthy tiny claws.
“I’ve never had a pet, and I’m a bit of a loner, so I don’t have a lot of friends,” Safa said. “I kept hearing the ‘purr’ sound cats make when she was sleeping, and it was the sweetest stuff I had ever heard.”
Safa had seen a lot of stray cats in his area, but this one was special. It was almost as though the cat had picked him.
Safa took a short photo with the sleeping cat, taking care not to wake her.

“I didn’t really care whether she had fleas or anything because I figured, ‘If she does have fleas, I probably already have fleas, so whatever,'” Safa said.
When the cat finally awoke, she didn’t waste any time making demands.
Safa said on Reddit, “The first thing she does is walk down [off] the sofa, stare me in the eyes, and start meowing constantly for 20 seconds.” “She’s definitely hungry, so guess who’s going to share my mom’s chicken wings?”

Safa brought the cat inside for a wash when she had finished her portion. He noticed the gray splotches on her fur were marks, not dirt, after ten minutes. Safa began to think about adopting the kitty since she was patient in the water.
“In my family, there aren’t any house restrictions prohibiting dogs, and she seemed like she could use some family, so I was like, ‘Screw it, I’m keeping her,'” Safa said.
Angel was the name he came up with for her.
The kitten was found to be healthy and without a microchip after a trip to the veterinarian. Safa then took her to a nearby store, where he bought cat food and a few toys for her.
It’s just been two weeks since then, but Safa and Angel’s lives have altered drastically.
Safa has a buddy who will always be by his side, and the tiny cat has her own house.
“All I can say is that she is the most entertaining cat I have ever met,” Safa remarked. “All she does is follow me around all day, begging for pets or to play.”
“I’d be working on my laptop when she’d climb on my keyboard and sit between my arms,” Safa said. “Picking her up and putting her on the ground isn’t going to help since she’ll just leap back up until she receives the stroking she craves.”
