This is the story of a little ball of skin coated in filth, who was also a bit unwell, causing him to sneeze at all times.
The cat didn’t stop meowing when she came across a kind boy seeking for food; when he spotted her, he knew he couldn’t let her go.
Casey Shaw, the kid who discovered the small child, was skating in the park when the cat approached him.
“I noticed her while I was out skating on my skateboard; she wasn’t shy at all, and she just walked over to me and we started playing,” Casey recalls of the cat.
Casey pulled a box from her car, placed the kitten inside, and drove her straight to the clinic.
He was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection as well as an infection in his eyes at the vet. They gave her every possible therapy to help her recover, and she is now a healthy kitty.
Casey Shaw considers himself fortunate and says he cannot think what would have happened if he had not discovered her at that specific moment, as the small cat would have continued to roam around. Casey worries about the other cats and animals who live alone on the streets, as this kitten did.
When the kitten was discovered, the vet determined she was around five weeks old. Casey called the cat Margot because she was overjoyed to have a roof over her head and a family to adore.
She’s been falling asleep on her human’s lap since she got home from the vet, and she can’t stop purring with joy.
Margot is now looking for a protective agent, which makes sense given that she was removed from her mother at an early age and is still in the stage of being cared for, relying on blankets and hugs with generous doses of affection.
“She just craves constant attention and affection, and one of her favorite things is being held up like a baby,” adds Casey.
“She is now a very happy and lively cat in a loving home, and I am grateful to be able to give her the life she deserves,” Casey adds. He also claims that Margot enjoys going on walks with her humans.
Margot has developed into a beautiful cat with an amazingly silky tail after a year of being rescued. There is no evidence of the filthy hairball he was when he met Casey.
