She Was Rejected Because She Was Different, And They Didn’t Realize How Much Love She Was Capable Of Giving

Because many people are afraid of the unknown, it is typical to see families putting their cherished pets aside in shelters. This story serves as an excellent example for all of us.

Zara was transported to the Fix’Em facility in Charleston, West Virginia, for sterilization surgery when she was just a few months old. The vet saw she had some respiratory issues and determined she needed to visit a specialist first.

They sought assistance from the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee (IBKC), a local rescue organization in Charleston. Zara was in bad health due to her previous owner’s inability to provide her with the medical attention she required to flourish.

He didn’t want to take over her particular care, though, because this kitty wasn’t your typical pet. She was greeted with wide arms by the rescuers. They wanted to do everything they could to make their lives better.

Zara was escorted to a neighborhood veterinarian for a checkup. It was immediately decided that he required an MRI for a more thorough diagnosis and treatment options. Everyone from the vet’s office came out to meet the unique feline and give him what he wanted: hugs, hugs, hugs.

For a proper assessment, the kitten had to be transferred to a special center outside of Virginia.

Two IBKC volunteers took the decision right away to accompany Zara to the Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center in the hopes of determining her medical status. They received responses for the adorable feline after a few days.

Zara has normal vision and can only breathe regularly on her right side. You can’t give her a left nasal passage since she doesn’t have one. His left eye never fully developed. Although your brain is asymmetrical, it is well-protected. There is no need for surgery.

This pet’s unusual ailment is thought to be congenital. Zara is who she is, according to the vet, and she is gorgeous, peaceful, and self-assured. When most cats are adopted, they hide, but she arrived at her foster home ready to take over.

Zara, like any other cat, enjoys cuddling with people and other kittens. She is a fantastic companion for everyone in her foster home and never complains when she is given her meds.

Despite her physical issues, Zara has a pleasant disposition and a strong desire to be loved. Don’t be deceived by this kitten’s looks. His health is excellent, and his veterinarians have been astounded by the amount of development he has made despite certain limits.

Zara’s foster parents are aware that finding a home for her will be difficult owing to biases held by certain individuals. They are confident that when the time comes, the right person will be attracted since it is so loving and amazing.
