The family already had a cat, but everything showed that the kitten need their attention, so they welcomed him into their household; the woman’s daughter gave him her own toy.
The family did not think twice about adopting him. ‘Ponyo,’ as they decided to call him, was a very cute little guy.

Samantha stated to The Dodo:
“It wasn’t simply a meow; it was a heartfelt cry.” He had the entire community working together to track him out and apprehend him. We already have a cat, so we weren’t searching for another, but Ponyo felt tailor-made for us!’

Ponyo received a present from the family’s daughter.
Samantha explains:
“My daughter Violet spent a long time looking for the right buddy for him to sleep with, and she finally decided on Dragon.” Every night, he sleeps with Dragon and spends a lot of time pulling him around the house!

Ponyo had his castration procedure planned when it was time to go to the vet, and their dragon was dispatched to assist him calm down.

Melissa Jenkins, a Catnip employee, added:
«Ponyo was worried when he arrived to the clinic. We all noticed his adorable dragon companion was in the carrier with him, so we put the dragon in the kennel with him. Ponyo first hid behind the dragon and plainly found comfort in it.

Ponyo was clearly supplied with protection by the toy, therefore he remained by his side at all times.

Melissa stated:
“We felt it would be interesting to put the dragon through the clinic with Ponyo, so we had fun providing the dragon with the same services.”

Ponyo was never alone in the clinic; his dragon was always with him, and even when he woke up, the toy was by his side to be the first thing he saw and would soothe him after the treatment.

Melissa continued, saying:
“When Ponyo awoke from anesthesia, he meowed and was naturally confused, so we made sure his dragon was around to soothe him.”

Ponyo was anxious about his visit to the vet because it was his first time, but his dragon was very supportive and kept him safe throughout the clinic. Ponyo is undoubtedly more connected to his toy than ever before.
