Our parents have taught us not to judge a book by its cover since we were children. It doesn’t matter how something or someone seems on the surface; it’s what’s on the inside that counts. That is the story we will tell you about today. A sad kitten with a peculiar appearance was unable to find a home until someone discovered what lay beneath and fell in love with it.
Hydrocephalus is afflicting Zeke, who is only a few months old. After his birth, he was taken to the Kaley’s Place Rescue facility, where it was evident that adoption would be difficult. Zeke’s stay at Kaley’s Place was coming to an end. He went three months without finding a home, with no one interested in bringing him in.
Nancy Lynch adopted Zeke when he was little over three months old. His new mother thought he was too adorable to put into words. She uploaded an album of photos of the kitten from various perspectives on Facebook as soon as she brought him home.
Despite the fact that hydrocephalus is a serious disease, Zeke received adequate therapy prior to Nancy’s adoption. She is well aware that he will want further assistance, and she does everything she can to assist him. Zeke’s clear handicap doesn’t hold him back in the least. He jumps and hops around like other cats while he’s playing with them.
Nancy is the finest thing that’s ever happened to Zeke. He has all of the love, care, and attention he requires, and we’re fortunate that his tale ends happily.
