After all, he was returned four times after being adopted from a shelter. That’s not a typo: he was returned four times by the family that took him in because he was “too demanding.” We’re not sure why somebody would do such a thing, but such was James Bean’s life.

The shelter eventually found James Bean a new home after a long wait. This time, it was a home for the rest of my life. He was adopted by individuals who adored him and didn’t think he was overbearing. They adore his personality and look forward to spending time with Mr. James Bean every day.

His adoptive father fell in love with him the minute he was placed in his arms. After being returned to the shelter four times, you’d think the cat would have separation anxiety, yet James Bean is a wonderfully affectionate cat. He rapidly established a trusting relationship with his new family, particularly with the father.
