Dangerous Black Rhino Cuddles With Brave Cat Who Seems To Like The Company
We all think of cats as cold, emotionless creatures incapable of feeling love and devotion, yet nothing could be farther from the reality. Cats, on the other hand, may be all warm and cuddly when they want to be. They may be affectionate to both humans and animals. Apart from dogs, cats appear to have a soft spot in their hearts for rhinos – at least this group does.
The Czech Republic’s Safari Park Dvur Kralove zoo recently made news after it was revealed that cats were living with rhinos. It’s neither a joke or a publicity gimmick; in reality, one of the caretakers came up with the concept 20 years ago. Jan Zdarek decided one day to put a cat in the rhino cage and let the animals play. Everyone was waiting to see what would happen, but the cat and the gorgeous beast got along swimmingly.
In the last 20 years, more cats have been added to the cage, with only one accident. One of the cats’ tails was bitten off by a baby rhino, but no permanent harm was done. Currently, three cats coexist nicely with the rhinos, snuggling all day.
