They Come Upon An Abandoned Elderly Cat That Was Going About Asking For Help Till He Took No Action Any Longer

Having a pet comes with a lot of responsibilities. It’s not enough to just welcome them into our house. They are live beings who require food, vet appointments, and a lot of love.

Unfortunately, some pet owners assume that simply having them at home is enough, as was the case with Ozzie, a cat.

Ozzie’s health deteriorated over time. Finally, his owners decided to get rid of him and escorted him out of the house, never to return. The unfortunate man started walking in search of safety, but he was in such awful shape that he couldn’t even walk.

Ozzie traveled as far as he could until he couldn’t take it any longer and passed out on the street. It was then that the rescuers discovered him and learned about his tragic past due to the locals.

That is why, without fear of being wrong, we have stated many times that thousands of kittens and puppies on the street should not be referred to as strays, but rather as abandoned. Without a doubt, his fate might have been different, and it was all due of mankind.

Ozzie was taken to the veterinarian by his rescuers. This was most certainly the first time he had ever sought medical help in his life. They contacted the creature’s proprietors, who stated unequivocally that they no longer wanted to know anything about it.

“We discovered that Ozzie had only been gone for a few of days.” “That suggested it was in the hands of its owners when it got to this sorry state of health,” one of the rescuers explained.

They conducted a battery of tests in order to assist him in regaining his health. They gave him a well-deserved wash and clipped his fur to get rid of the knots that were causing him agony. He also had treatment for his severely decayed teeth. He appeared to be a brand new kitten after only a few weeks.

“Who knows how long this kitten struggled to walk before deciding it was too much for him and giving up?” One of the rescuers stated.

All she needed now was to find someone who would show her some affection. They moved him to a temporary home, where he won everyone’s hearts and they chose to make him a permanent member of the family.

“He follows me around and meows at me as though he’s conversing with me.” “He sits with me on the couch and begins to demand treatment,” his new owner explained.

We rejoice that this lovely kitty has finally been given the chance to have a happy life. Ozzie, at fifteen and after such a rough background, deserves to enjoy his new home to the utmost and be treated every day until he dies.
